Mandy grew up in Dublin, Ireland, with her two older brothers and younger sister. She attended college in the south of Ireland where she met and later married her husband, Michael.
Mandy and Michael immigrated to Canada in 1993, settling in Mississauga, Ontario. Mandy gave her heart to the Lord in 1994, having heard the message of the gospel from a friend. She began attending Harvest Family Church, and soon became involved in Children's Ministry where her passion for teaching children about Jesus was allowed to flourish.
For the past 10 years, Mandy has faithfully worked in the Children's Ministry Department at HFC in many age groups and positions such as children's worker, teacher and department coordinator. In 2004, Mandy became employed at HFC as assistant to the Children's Director. While fulfilling this role, she has helped to lead over 170 volunteers in five age groups within the Children's Department catering to at least 150 children each service. She has organized children's events, assisted in leadership and teacher training, and has been instrumental in introducing relevant age-appropriate curriculum to all classes.
Mandy and Michael have lived in Milton, Ontario, with their three children - Ashleigh, Katelyn and Emma - since September, 2002. Their love for the Lord continues to grow, and with His leading, they are excited to be a part of the team bringing True North Church to their home town.
