Pastor Alan Wachob

Lead Pastor

Alan Wachob grew up in western Pennsylvania.  He was raised in a Christian home and made a commitment to Christ at an early age.  While attending a Pentecostal church, at the age of 15, he knew God was calling him into full-time ministry.  He then began a journey to fulfill that call as he grew in his knowledge of God and His Word.  After graduating high school, he began his pastoral studies at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota.  After two years of study there, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and completed his pastoral studies in Bible School there.

Alan met his lovely wife, Sherri, after graduating Bible School where she was a current student.  After Sherri graduated, they married in 1991 in Toronto.  During that same year, Alan was hired as the associate pastor at Harvest Family Church in Mississauga.  For over 16 years, he has been serving Pastor Coulter in a variety of capacities as the church grew into a thriving congregation with regional impact.  At Harvest, Pastor Alan started and led many of its departments, administrated the volunteer ministries, organized its conferences and events, taught classes, and preached in services on a regular basis.  By 2007, the number of volunteers at Harvest Family Church had expanded to almost 300 people in 30 different departments, with Alan being responsible for maintaining the church’s departmental organization and scheduling so they could all function together efficiently.

One of Alan’s favorite Scriptures that has kept him on course in vocational ministry is Mark 10:45 (NLT), where Jesus says, “For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many.”

Alan’s communication style is casual and comfortable yet has a way of reaching the heart of the listener with practical and powerful truth.  His passion is for True North to be known for anointed teaching from God’s Word that speaks to the current generation.  He desires to see broken lives and families mended by Jesus Christ and hope restored to those who have given up on church and God

In 2006, Alan saw clearly that God was asking him to stay in Canada and become the founder and pastor of a new church in the GTA.  After careful consideration and prayer, he wholeheartedly committed his life to serving God in this great country, serving its people, and furthering the cause of Christ in the region.

Alan is currently a dual citizen of the United States and Canada.  Alan loves his American roots, but he also loves his adopted country of Canada and enjoys the passion God has given him to help others make a difference here.  Alan and Sherri have two wonderful children - Sam and Sydney.  They’re excited to plant this church, too!
