Suggested Items to bring
When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items should your child need them:
Our Health Policy
Throughout our children's ministry department, we operate a well-child program. For the protection and safety of all our children we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to maintain a healthy children's program!
Checking In
A leader will meet you at the check-in area to receive your child and any other necessary items. At the time of check-in, a leader will apply an adhesive name tag to your child's back with his or her name, number and specific care instructions on it. You will be given a numbered card which corresponds to your child's registration number. If you are needed to return to your child's classroom, your child's registration number will be posted on the monitor in the sanctuary.
Saying Good-bye
After you have completed the check-in process, we appreciate a quick good-bye with your child! We understand it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent and so our leaders have been coached to distract your child's attention with a toy or activity geared towards their interest. If your child cries for an extended period of time of 10 minutes, we will post your number on the sanctuary monitor.
Snacks
We operate a peanut free environment! Snacks are provided for the children with parent's permission. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child
Curriculum
We believe children are never too young to know God! Our interactive nursery curriculum aims at engaging your child through age appropriate songs, play and supervised activities designed to communicate God's unconditional love and values to your child.
Pick-up Procedures
You will be required to present your registration card upon return to your child's classroom. We will verify that the number on the card matches the number on your child's name tag and then release your child to you. A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of the assigned registration card.
Nursing Mother's Room
We provide an area designed to provide privacy for nursing mothers during feeding times. Any usher or children's worker will gladly direct you to this area.
