Early Childhood (JK, SK)

Check-In Process
When entering a classroom the children are given a name tag and number for personal identification, and are invited to participate in a variety of engaging activities for the duration of the check-in period.  This time not only offers an opportunity for children to meet with their friends but also offers opportunities for our leaders to connect with the children through fun activities as they arrive.  The adult checking the child into the classroom is given a registration card that is necessary to release the child at the end of the service.  If you are needed to return to your child's classroom, you child's registration number will be posted on the monitor in the sanctuary.  We ask that you present your registration card upon return to your child's classroom for verification.

Our Health Policy
Throughout our children's ministry department, we operate a well-child program.  For the protection and safety of all our children we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness.  We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children.  Thank you in advance for helping us to maintain a healthy children's program!

Snacks
We operate a peanut free environment!  Snacks are provided for the children with parent's permission. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child.

Curriculum
Throughout the kindergarten years our goal is to continue to communicate God's unconditional love for each individual child while emphasizing character development and spiritual growth.  The children will sing songs (with actions) hear a bible story and memory verse pertaining to the focus of the lesson. They will also complete a fun activity reinforcing the content of the lesson (i.e. craft, playdough, interactive game).   A take home page will be provided so that you may review and reinforce the content of the lesson with your child during the week.

Check-Out Process
To retrieve your child from class you will be required to provide the registration card that you were given when checking your child in. A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of the assigned registration card.
