Researching any place to leave your child is not a fleeting task! I am reminded of the first time I came to church with my six month old in tow, she is eleven now with two younger sisters!
I remember it as clearly as if it were yesterday and can still remember the people I first spoke to. One thing was for certain, before entering the service I needed to be sure that my daughter was well taken care of and would be fine without me! I also wanted to make sure the volunteers could contact me if I was needed. When my second daughter came along I thought I had done it all before, nobody told me (or I didn't really listen!) that they would be two totally different children. I had to work with the volunteers in overcoming separation anxiety which required a lot of diligence and loving care. Daughter number three came with yet another unique personality; however I can honestly say it got easier as I grew!
As I remember my experiences as a new mom and a mom now of three growing children, I wanted to take the time to communicate a personal message to you regarding our Children's Ministry here at True North. At all times and with every age group, it is our aim to run an excellent ministry where your child's welfare is our number one priority. Our children's ministry volunteers are there because they love kids! It truly is a privilege to be given the opportunity to minister to your child; it is one I thank God for everyday. I sincerely hope that you come visit us.
